The procedure will take place following the completion of your consultation with one of our experienced clinicians. Following an examination and the disclosure of your health history, the site of injection will be swabbed with alcohol to prevent an infection from occurring. After cleaning, you may be subject to topical anesthesia or ice to help numb the area before injection. This filler treatment also contains .03% of lidocaine, a local anesthetic, hence the “XC” referred to in the name of the product. JUVÉDERM Ultra Plus XC is then injected via micro-needle while a clinician uses their hands to guide the gel for the best outcome.
